Meet the Managing Director
Molly Parker is a Registered Dietitian (RD) from the United States. She received her Bachelors of Science in Nutrition from the University of Central Arkansas, and afterwards went on to further her studies at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and received her certificate of Dietetic Internship. This allowed her to take the Commision on Dietetics Registration exam, and become an "RD."
Molly is passionate about cooking, exercising and sharing her knowledge of nutrition with others. Her biggest hope for the nutritional landscape of Rwanda is to see the nation achieve balance in nutritional health, nation wide. While many are undernourished, a population of overweight/obesity is also increasing. Molly believes that Rwandans should be empowered with the knowledge and skills to make healthy choices for themselves and for their families.
WHY CHOOSE A "REGISTERED DIETITIAN" FOR YOUR NUTRITIONAL NEEDS?
While anyone with no formal training whatsoever may call themselves a "Nutritionist," a Registered Dietitian is a food and nutrition expert who has been through years of education and over 1,200 hours of hands on training to earn the credential of RD. An RD can provide you with sound, evidence-based and realistic nutrition advice based on your personal health and social history.
